What Can I Donate in Delhi?

Learn what items are routed for direct distribution to underprivileged families, what goes for zero-landfill textile recycling, and what cannot be accepted.

Direct Distribution

Accepted for Donation

Clean, wearable garments routed to underprivileged families, children & Arpan Kendras across Delhi.

Condition: Clean, dry and wearable.
Accepted Items:
  • Clean Shirts & T-Shirts
  • Jeans, Trousers & Pants
  • Sarees, Kurtas & Salwar Suits
  • Sweaters, Hoodies & Warm Jackets
  • Kids & Infants Wear
  • School Uniforms & Bags
  • Blankets, Quilts & Shawls
  • Clean Bedsheets & Towels
Zero-Landfill

Accepted for Recycling

Textiles that cannot be worn anymore are shredded and converted into industrial yarn & insulation mats.

Condition: Torn or damaged, but dry & clean.
Recyclable Items:
  • Torn or stained clothes
  • Faded & worn-out textiles
  • Single socks & gloves
  • Frayed towels & rags
  • Tailoring fabric cutouts & scraps
  • Old curtains & pillow covers
Hygiene Protocol

Not Accepted

To safeguard hygiene, health of handlers, and beneficiary dignity, these items cannot be collected.

Reason: Items cannot be sanitized safely.
Unacceptable Items:
  • Wet or damp clothes
  • Moldy or fungus-infested items
  • Heavily soiled or grease-stained
  • Oil or chemical paint damaged
  • Medical bio-hazard materials
  • Used undergarments
